About InkBird Print Studio
Our Values
We are a woman-owned small business.
We proudly support equality, human rights, and kindness for all. We are happy to print for causes rooted in equality, inclusion, and human dignity.
If your project promotes hate, discrimination, intolerance, or violence, we’re not your printer.
InkBird Print Studio
InkBird Print Studio LLC is a small woman-owned business located in Pontiac, Michigan.
We are one of the last large format silk-screen printers in the state (We who specialize in signage & art, no t-shirts). We were once been called a unicorn in the printing industry for our specialty capabilities, which we love!
We have expanded into 3D printing, wide-format graphics and digital printing, large format lamination, laser cutting, and more.

Why "InkBird Print Studio"?
Claire grew up working in her Dad's shop right here at the 40 West Howard building in Pontiac. In 2018, we moved back to Michigan when he was ready to retire, Claire adopted his equipment and built InkBird Print Studio!
In addition to sharing a profession, Claire and her Dad also share a pet! His name was Alex, and he came to live with Chris and I over a decade ago.
So, we have...
Profession: Screen Printing (Ink)
Pet: Bird
What do we do?: Printing
We make art! And we do much more than just printing: Studio
Ta-daaa! "InkBird Print Studio".
Meet Alex
Alex, our African Grey parrot, and the namesake of InkBird Print Studio, passed away in July 2025 at the ripe old age of 44. He was deeply loved, and we will miss his companionship, chatter, whistles, and big personality.
In his words: "See ya later"
We miss you, buddy.
If you feel inspired to help another bird find a loving home and live a long happy life like Alex, please consider donating to a bird rescue near you. The one nearest us is Mulberry Acres, their gofundme is below. We are not affiliated with this non-profit.
Meet The Team
The Cameo
This is our smallest screen printing press.
The Cameo is excellent for high volume print runs of small, precise print jobs. Custom decals, packaging, and unique items like equipment warning tags... this press has done it all.
The project on the drying rack beside it is a run of custom clear coated decals that will go inside of the engine bay of a car! Once the specialty clear coat on these is dry, we'll run those sheets through our plotter to separate all the individual stickers, stack them up neatly, and ship them out.
If you need small, precision screen printing work done, there's a good chance we'll be doing that work on the Cameo.
Meet The Team
"Milton" the Graphtec Plotter
Our Graphtec Plotter and is one of the hardest working machines in our shop. If you have ordered stickers, decals, labels, or vinyl cut lettering from us, your order went through this machine as the final production step before we quality-check it and pack it up.
It can handle everything from small vinyl lettering to massive production orders of 10,000+ stickers.
We named this machine Milton because it can be a bit tempermental and needs to be watched to avoid jams, cut errors, and the occasional temper tantrum. If you've seen Office Space, you'll get the vibe.
Milton cuts all of your sticker orders!
