This acrylic painting was the first of the series, featuring a calm yellow background surrounds a crystalline geometric cactus in bloom. Photographed in natural light, this piece now belongs to a collector in Arizona

This idea came to me when I wished that I was able to keep any plant alive longer than a few months. I'd love to turn this idea into a sculpture in the future, or into a smaller series of crystal succulent paintings or prints. :)
